11 January 2010 marks the full three years of my service in the current firm. I have finally fulfilled the CA training requirements if they take into account of my probation period. It's my full 3 years!!! A lot of happiness and sadness happened around me during the 3 years. All the late nights that I had with the colleagues are sometimes memorable though and all the complaints should be forgotten. Well, those are past tense, just let it be.

Nevertheless, I am still expecting for more late nights from now on. It is getting challenging for me. =(

Review of 2010

L recently gave me some new standing calenders to put on my study table as well as the office table that I'm now sitting on. Before I moved away the old standing calender, I flipped through the whole old standing calender and found that many events had been carried out during the year.

Usually I use it as a reminder for me. It is useful to remind me my exams dates and leaves so that I can plan properly for my study and my trips.

During the year, I have attended few gatherings, including Kung Min reunion dinner before the CNY, VU gathering with the uni buddies, PRU gathering with the PRU Young talents, and of course a secondary school gathering with the SMKTBM-mates.

I also went for trips with my family and L. I did not manage to go for more as I have been utilising the unpaid leave to join my sister's convocation. Well...that already reflected on my performance bonus. =( Teng, please appreciate my sacrifice. =p

That was also mainly because all my 14 days leaves had gone to my study leaves. I need 2 weeks for each paper and there were 2 papers I took during the year. So, there goes all my leaves. OT is so hard to get...=(

I went Cameron with L's family. Unfortunately, there were some unfortunate things happened when we returned. After, I went BKK with L, NEC, and FF. It was an enjoyable trip to shooooooooooooooooooooooop as things are relatively cheap there.

At the end of June, like previous year (i.e. 2009) the SCB audit team joined the SCB marathon run. L joined me and encouraged me to finish the marathon. And, I realised that my performance had improved slightly by 10minutes. I'm happy with that. Please forgive that I have not been going for any sports consistently. Hope that I can do it this year.

I have been attending my friends' wedding. Here, I excluded L's friends wedding as I did not note down on those occasions. L will remind me =p All his friends' wedding, I have to follow him all the way to his home town. Coincidently, these weddings were always fallen on the weeks that I went on leave for my study. Therefore, I have been able to attend those.

However, we have grown up. Friends are getting married one-by-one. The last wedding I went for 2010 is Sun's. We were already informed that there are 2 coming up in early 2011. Wish they all have a sweet marriage and last forever.

On top of that, in the month of October, I have finally received my certificate of Graduate Diploma of Chartered Acconting from ICAA. I am glad that I have finally finished the papers. I can't imagine that I have finally finished it when I checked my results saying that I have PASSED the final paper. I have no mood to work on that day (I could still remember), and I left office early to dine with L for a celebration.

erm...well, I have set resolutions for myself in 2010. Unfortunately, I have not been achieving them, especially "I want to reduce weight". So, it is carried forward to 2011.

Blacklisted

Just got to know that I am now blacklisted by Neway. I was disappointed that I could not sing k on the eve. However, I felt even disappointing when I knew I was blacklisted because of the mic went missing which in fact not our fault.

I still remembered we went to 1U Neway to sing k to celebrate KK's birthday. Half way, one of the 3 mics got problem, so we called the staff to check for us what's wrong with the mic.

Unfortunately, before the mic was returned to the room, another mic had the same problem. Again, we called the staff to look into it for us. Even though mics were returned, the same problem occurred. I believe only 1 mic was returned at the end of the day and none of us realised that. The staff came in and checked whether we have all the mics before we left. It was found 1 was missing. I wondering why they will check before we left as usually before we left, there is no one will check on us. Were we damn unlucky or they have known that the mic was somehow broken or whatever the staff did on the mic and they just wanna push the responsibility to us? I don't know.

What I know is who the hell wanna steal the useless mic? Although they told us it costs RM1,000, so what? What can we do with the useless mic?

Since it blacklisted me, I can also put it in my blacklist. Although I am too immaterial to them, at least I feel happy as they are not gonna get any cent from me anymore.

Night of the Macabre

When i saw the theme of our annual dinner, I have the feelings that I do not want to go. I imagined to dress like a ghost at night and crazy until midnight, that looks scary to me and horrible.

After I asked around, many of my friends were not gonna follow the theme and my name was listed on the list. So I attended.

Well, even so, I did not buy my dress until the last weekend before the annual dinner. Same reasons: busy and lazy.

It was quick to buy the dress just after I went into few shops and I found the dress. I also took the opportunity to buy new clothes for the CNY 2011.

This year is not as lucky as last year. I did not win any prizes!!!

I did not take in any alcohol as I was driving myself. So, better don't.

I think the best part of the annual dinner this year was the organisers were able to invite JJ & Ian to be the emcee for the night. Everyone was screaming when their name were announced.

1、好好梳理一次已经过去的人生。按照时间顺序，列一张年度纪事表，看看你25岁之前得到了什么，失去了什么，有哪些教训和后悔，当初设立的目标是否已经实现……这将帮助你进一步了解自己，也将更好地鞭策自己。

2、谈过至少一次恋爱，并且依然相信爱情。很少有初恋就成功的恋人。少年时分手，大多因为不懂得如何去爱，但那时的爱一定是真的。 25岁时的爱也是真的，虽然也许不那么纯粹。恋爱是门技术活，那些你在恋爱过程中学到的技巧、领悟的道理，不是别人能轻易能给的。而这些东西，会影响你将来的婚姻，甚至影响一生。和爱的人谈恋爱，跟合适的人结婚，你的人生会更圆满。我们来算一笔时间帐。假如你初恋20岁，两年后因为毕业或其他因素分手，你还有至少两三年的时间寻找一个合适的男人结婚。而若你25岁初恋，两年后分手，你复原及慢慢寻找合适的人，则要付出更多的时间代价。当然，如果你与25岁时遇到的合适的初恋修成了正果，那么恭喜你，你很幸运。

4、别再指望全世界把你当公主。 25岁最大的悲剧在于仍然相信自己可以凭借美貌征服世界、征服任何一个优秀的男人；仍然任性地认为得到的一切都是理所当然的，无理取闹是可以被原谅的。事实上，早一点认清“现实”的人，用现实的态度对待生活的人，能够少走一点弯路。

5、不要把内心的骄傲摆在脸上。保持内心的骄傲，爱自己，尤其是接收了自己的不完美之后，继续爱自己。同时在脸上留下谦卑，这会让你融入团队，融入生活。

6、不要理直气壮地装嫩。你实际年龄25，看上去就是25。不会因为用娃娃声说话、拍照撅嘴就真的变回18岁。仔细对照几年前的照片，或许容貌没有太大的改变，但你的眼神一定和从前大不一样。每个年龄都有自己独特的魅力，相对18岁的不谙世事，你如今更为懂事、大方、得体，如果偏执地装嫩，正好说明你内心严重缺乏自信。

7、别再相信“永远”，享受当下。 “永远”是一个并不存在的词，你现在一定得清楚，当下的快乐才是真实的快乐。25岁的你，是人生中最好的时候，别用明天的忧愁来稀释今天的快乐，也不要用明天的快乐来扰乱今天本该快乐的步伐。事实上，能享受和累加快乐的人，会拥有更多的快乐，如果爱情的“现在时”都是郁闷的、纠结的，将来也一定好不到哪儿去。

8、不要再被心动的感觉牵着鼻子走。女生总喜欢被感觉冲昏头脑。相对外表和才华，你此时也应该开始考虑个性、家庭、教育背景等因素了。人生最终幸福与否，爱情是基础但不是全部，两个人的互动、思维方式是否同步也至关重要。心动终究会消失，甚至会消失到你怀疑它是否真实地存在过。

9、拒绝跟已婚的老男人从往过密。和已婚老男人从往过密，无异与虎谋皮。如果他对你没有兴趣，一定会与你保持距离。他如果对你有兴趣，而你又经不起诱惑，最后你失败了，受伤不浅。就算你干掉原配上了位，还得面对人家和你隔肚皮的小孩。总之，你永远不可能成为这场游戏的最后赢家。

10、你已经过了暗恋的年龄了，如果很喜欢一个人就大大方方告诉他吧。即使失败了也没什么大不了的，至少不用继续耽误宝贵的青春。

11、不属于你的人和事，就别再想了。伤害过你的前男友问你好不好，回答“很好”。被你抛弃的前男友问你好不好，回答“很好”。结过婚的男人问你好不好，回答“很好”。他们，都不是你的谁。

12、不用为谁轻易改变，也不要试图改变他人。前半句是因为不做自己终将很惨，后半句是因为你根本做不到。

13、到了25岁这个年纪，随身带避孕套也不是什么大不了的事。如果你现在还认为避孕套是男人才该准备的，女孩子包包里放着套套难以启齿，这绝对不是矜持，而是对自己不负责。女性的大部分妇科疾病是由男人引起，除了防止意外怀孕，套套还能预防疾病传播。在危急时刻，它还能保护你不受到进一步伤害。

14、别把避孕药当做护身符。 25岁以后，激素水平紊乱的直接后果就是导致不孕。如果你不想悲剧发生，就赶紧停止频繁服用避孕药吧，尤其毓婷，半年内不能超过一粒。如果他不准备套套，那就自己准备。如果他拒绝带套，你也完全可以拒绝他。假如你不爱惜自己，做爱很容易就变成了作孽。

15、妇科检查不再是和你无关的事情。不要以为你没结婚妇科检查就和你无关，只要你有性经历，每年的妇科检查就是必须的。如果有条件的话，去打一次宫颈癌预防针，13岁到26岁有效，打得越早效果越好。

16、存折上至少有应付失业三个月的生活费。这是底线。存款可以不多，但至少要能保证失业三个月内不被饿死。如果没有存款，那你必须有储蓄意识了。先从记账开始，你会发现大部分花费其实都不是必须的。开源很重要，节流也同样很重要。

17、你必须有一件除爱情外，真正喜欢的“东西”。和任何人一样，你的年轻和美丽是逐年递减的，它们在爱情中能为你争取的“利益”也是逐年递减的。如果你的男友很上进，你要赶紧跟上，否则会被他抛弃；如果你的男友很颓废，你要自立自强，否则会被他拖累。爱情不是终身饭票，它需要运用很多种方式进行增值。此时，你已经在学校里完成了只至少一门学业的学习，在社会上经历了工作的考验。你对什么事情有兴趣，什么事情能做好，应该有了一个大致的认知。把你愿意为之付出努力的兴趣坚持下去，即使它很渺小。

18、就算买债券也不把钱存在银行。物价飞涨的今天，钱存在银行只会贬值，绝不会升值。去年买一斤苹果的钱，今年就只能买半斤了。现在开始学习投资理财还不算晚，但如果再不学就一定晚了。如果觉得炒股或买基金技术含量太高，你可以先从投资保险和国债入手，或者请理财人士帮你量身定制理财计划。

19、继续保持理想，但必须做一个清晰且现实的职业规划。现在的工作状态和平台决定了未来十年你的情况。如果一个人在进入职场三年后，仍然不清楚自己适合干什么，想要干什么，那多半他这辈子都搞不清楚了。平庸地走完职业生涯，还是有所发展，决定权在你自己手里。仔细分析一下你目前的工作形势，制定一个短、中、长期的规划。如果分析完后觉得前路茫茫，赶紧另谋出路。

20、努力工作，但也要有失业的准备。 2008年金融危机，马士基全球裁员。有员工被叫进办公室，进去出来，打包东西，30分钟后走人。跨国大公司尚且如此，更何况其他企业。不论是在金钱方面还是心理上，你都应该有准备。年龄也是一种竞争优势，25岁时失业和22岁时失业的区别在于，前者的新机会要比后者小很多。22岁时你会觉得失业没什么，睡醒了又是新的一天。而25岁，你可能会连续失眠一个星期。

21、别再频繁跳槽，尤其别为了涨工资而轻易跳槽。跳槽就像离婚，有惯性。跳到最后，很可能一事无成。现在的你，职业生涯开始进入一个决定性的时期，发展和平台才是此时最重要的。如果发展和平台都很好，降薪跳槽也未尝不可。

22、不要轻易换城市。除非是已经有计划，且条件已经成熟的机会，否则不要轻易更换城市。此时换城市你付出的代价要比刚工作时大得多。首先，因为地域关系，你的工作经验也许作废。其次，你这些年建立的人脉基本清零。第三，你的男朋友愿意和你一起吗？就算愿意，那他能有和你一样好的机会吗？或者，在一个新的城市，要用多长的时间，你才能重新找到一个让你敢放心去爱的人？最重要的是，你的人脉、工作经验等被清零的同时，你的年龄不会倒回去。决定换城市之前先计算一下得失，相信你有能力根据结果自己决定去留。

23、不做职场万金油，也别期待自己无可替代。什么都能做，什么都不擅长，可有可无的下场就是丧志职场竞争力。你能做的一个刚毕业的学生也能做，老板凭什么花两三倍的薪水养着你？如果你不是高级技术型人才，也别指望自己不可替代，根据自己的优势，找到能发挥最大价值的途径更实际。25岁，你必须开始思考自己的定位。

24、试着欣赏你的对手。之所以能成为对手，知道表明他和你实力相当。他还没有被你打倒，他身上一定具备你所没有的某种东西。取长补短是你打他的唯一途径。

25、把交友门槛抬高。最孤单的事情不再是没人陪在你身边，而是没人住在你心里。玩伴并不能派遣寂寞，你已经过了需要玩伴、需要互相陪伴的年纪。25岁，你需要把朋友重新分类排列一遍、把交友门槛抬高，不和你志同道合的人，不拥有至少一项你欣赏的好品质的人，请降级。

26、把不能成为至交的朋友变成你的人脉。即使你真的能力过人，仅凭一人的单打独斗，想要成功也一定困难重重。有句话说，你是谁并不重要，重要的是你和谁在一起。人脉在某些程度上决定了你的人生。从25岁开始，你需要开始有意识地累积自己的人脉，你要明白在成功的道路上，需要什么人来帮助你，谁是你的奋斗方向，谁又是你的借鉴。总的说来，无条件支持你的人；对你要求严格的人；欣赏你、提携你的人，都是你应该珍视的人。

27、在衣橱里准备一两套有品质的礼服。也许一年中只有一两次穿着它们的机会，但这一两次就足够让你成为焦点。

28、是秘密，就谁也别告诉。保守别人的秘密，是美德；保守自己的秘密，是成长的必须。你最终需要自己面对世界，何不留住一些隐私，顺便也留住友谊长久必须的距离呢？真正的友谊本不需要用秘密来巩固。

29、用买十件打折货仿单货的钱，买一件经典的简洁款。从现在开始，“气质”这个词，对你而言越来越重要。

30、知道自己穿什么风格的衣服最好看。找对风格，远比紧跟流行，智慧得多。

31、别急着买奢侈品。现在你可以有第一件奢侈品，但千万别把买奢侈品当成人生追求。实际上，欧美奢侈品消费主力为40岁至60岁的中产阶级。

32、你这个年纪，最贵的护肤品应该是眼霜，最好的化妆品应该是微笑。熬夜、不良生活习惯，眼睛都不会说谎，眼神也没法化妆。浓妆只会加速你的衰老。25岁，你还没有到涂墙的年纪。把买化妆品的钱用买护肤品吧，买一支好一点的眼霜，购入自己的第一支精华。做好保湿，做好清洁，早点睡，你的微笑真的很美。

33、内衣一旦磨损、松垮或变形，立刻扔掉。这不光是为了美，更是为了健康。你知道吗？乳腺癌是全球女性发病率最高的恶性肿瘤。选择合适的内衣，经常按摩，月经后进行乳房自我检查，给你的咪咪多一点爱。

34、至少把一门兴趣变成你加分的特长，即使是像唱歌、讲笑话这样的小事。朋友圈里最受欢迎的人，一定是幽默、特别的人，别小看讲笑话、唱歌、做手工的作用，虽然是小事，却是一个人个性和人格魅力的重要组成部分，能够增强你的存在感和人气。想学摄影，就去学吧；想学钢琴，也去学吧，你才25岁。

35、回家再哭。试着将自己的脆弱隐藏起来。25岁在人前哭，不会为你争取同情分，只能让敌人看到你的脆弱、暗笑你的脆弱。

36、别总是看韩剧。看点美剧，这更能锻炼你的逻辑。现在的你不光需要感情，需要浪漫，更需要清晰的逻辑，美剧绝对是世界上最轻松、最有趣味性地锻炼逻辑的方式。

37、把无聊发呆的时间用来看新闻。不是娱乐八卦，而是关于“今天世界发生了什么”。你不是和这个世界毫无关系。利用早餐时间、打扫时间关注你生活的城市、国家、世界，不仅能够帮助你在掌握信息的基础上作出正确的决定，还能让你不在同陌生人交谈时一无所知。

38、出门旅行，去看看博物馆和美术馆，和当地人聊聊天。最能体现一座城市内涵的地方是博物馆和美术馆，最能体现一座城市真实面貌的地方是生活在那里的人民，多了解这些，比一堆照片能带给你的收获要多得多。

39、尝试一些你以前拒绝的东西，例如一道从来不吃的菜，一本“绝不会看”的书。接纳以前无论如何也不吃的菜，是成熟的标志之一。到了这个年纪，打开自己容纳世界，换一个角度思考，你会有全新的收获。

40、想清楚自己到底想要什么。杨澜曾经在采访中说，大多数女人在第一次婚姻中都不清楚自己要的是什么。你之前以为自己想要的，并不是真正想要的。人只有在有过一定经历后才会清楚自己真正的要求。现在，关于事业，关于爱情，你都有了一定经历，时候好好想想这个问题了。

41、任何年纪，都记得给父母一周至少一次电话。 25岁的时候，忙恋爱、忙升职，父母一定不是你们生活的重心。但你应该明白，如果在外地工作，每年回一次家，你人生中能和父母相处的时间，加起来也实在少得让人心酸。无论你在哪里，每周打一次电话回家吧。父母不会要求你做什么，但他们会以最认真的态度来对待。

42、主动问候你想念的朋友。别斤斤计较谁先和谁联络，谁关心谁更多，25岁以后，获得一个真朋友会越来越难。主动关心以前的好友吧，一个留言，一条短信，表达的惦念和珍惜，却很不简单。再亲密的朋友，久不联络，也会疏远的。

43、有自己下厨吃饱肚子的动手能力。蛋炒饭是最低要求。保守一点，你至少得学会三菜一汤。25岁的你不必精通各项家务，但你此时应该明白，收拾房间、做饭，也是爱的能力的一种体现。

44、从今天开始，最晚1点前睡觉。关于这一点没什么好说的，自己的身体需要自己好好爱惜。

45、不要尽信理论和书本，包括我们现在告诉你的。世界上没有绝对的对错，甚至有时对错也可能恰好颠倒。最关键在于你看世界的角度。选择你认为对的，这就足够了。

Another achievement soon

Finally, I passed the final paper of the ICAA course. It is not easy. I was demotivated after my first paper. Fortunately, I did not give up.

I just feel it is unbelievable... and I feel the accomplishment right now. Really excited and great.

I totally lost the mood to work on the day I got my results. I don't care and I left office at sharp 530pm.

As I am getting another qualification soon once I have completed my practical experience program with my 3 years of working experience.

I told myself that I will have to start thinking what I wanna do next after suffering for 3 years. Anyway, I'm staying for another year for the bond I signed to make it worth, as signing it I gained the free qualification and precious experience. Also, staying for 1 more year to allow myself to think deeply what I wanna do after this.

Nevertheless, I wish to continue to study, either CFA or MBA. Only after 1 year of "cooling period", I will start studying again. I just feel exhausted to keep studying and working non-stop. Given the workload, I don't think I can still study for now.

Thanks dear for the treat at Korean restaurant. Can we study MBA together?

Last "flight"

It is my first time to carry a luggage and a bag into an exam hall. After i packed my luggage, I felt weird if i were to pull a luggage in.

I message to Sue to double confirm whether is she bringing in all the books in. She replied: Yes. Kiasu maximum... I then decided to bring everything as long they can fit into my luggage and bag. It really helped me during the exam. I did not regret bringing in so many books. heee...

After the exam, everyone is also pulling luggages and waited for lift. Sue said: it's like a flight just landed. Yes, it really felt like we just landed. Someone also said: hope we don't take the same "flight" again. Definitely, nobody wishes to take this "flight" again.

Indeed, after i finished writing on the exam paper, suddenly I had a thought: I'm graduating. It reminded me the feeling I had last time when I sat for the last paper in my undergraduates studies.

Have not been updating here.

It used to be my favouriate place here to share all I wanted. Now there is this thing called: FB. hahaha...so, tend to abandon a bit. sorry...

Well, it is my study leaves again. Hope this will be my last time taking study leave. God please bless me to pass the exams. hee...

Only during the study period, when my brain can't work, I will come here and express some feeling.

During the study period, I have attended 2 wedding dinners, just in 2 weeks times. Coming up, there are more, right???

And I start counting down already. Counting down when is my last day. Few questions pop up on my mind: Where should I go? What is my interest actually? What do I expect for my future? I have no answers for all these questions yet. If leaving is my decision, I really have to think about it.

I also fell sick for few days. The fever never goes away. The body temperature is kept at 38. I feel so headache so I went to see doctor. Hopefully, will recover then.

I dreamed a lot too...making my brains so tired. Truly speaking, I hardly can remember all my dreams when I wake up. But these few days, the stories of the dream are so clear staying in my mind. My brain is just so tired, how to study? I just can't stay focus.

This is my last paper, I have to put in more effort, effort, and effort. go go go...

Family day 2010

I enjoyed and had great fun this year on the family day.

We all (SCB team) agreed to meet at 9am sharp nearby the entrance of Sunway Lagoon. Me and JTHX are the earliest. SCB team members gradually reached and gathered. Our boss is the LATEEEEEEEEEEEEST. We went in at 10am (after waiting for an hour).

We have a "map", LWEN, as she knows the whole park well without looking at the map. We just have to tell what we want to play, she will bring us there.

We first went to the "pirates ship". I'm like: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Boss and LWEN also stood my side. The rest went in. I had 1 time experience and I think that's enough. I still remembered that time I sat in, I never expected it to be overturn but it did. I cried like mad. I will never forget.

Second stop, we stopped at the similar type of ride, which overturn many times and faster. After the ride, they all commented that this is not as excited as the pirates ship. Boss, LWEN and I wanted to raise white flag.

Then we went to different types of roller coasters and some other rides. At first, we just went for those really dry rides. Slowly, they said: this ride won't make you wet 1 la...

Ok, then we try.

Then it goes like: Come la!!! Come here don't play mer?!!!

I even saw a signboard says: you will get wet on this ride. I'm like: Oh no...

I don't care as I see people don't get wet completely. Somemore, my boss is in front of me. I think his size should be big enough to cover me. Unexpectedly, I still got wet after the ride.

Then, they suggested: come! let's go wet park since we are wet. At that moment, I felt helpless. I followed and see what they want to play first.

So they went to one of the slides, which will cause you completely wet!!! Me and JTHX stood at 1 side said: No! Mana tau..., YXN and LLKE suddenly appeared from behind and they both were wet and just hugged us. I don't have reason not to get wet now!!! 天啊。。。

I was so touched by my friend, O. She is a big fan of Doraemon. So do I. That's why we are so close.

Earlier on, when McD introduced a set of Doraemon for collection, she really crazy about it and bought all the collections.

前几天, 我的颈很酸痛. 所以,昨天还特地拜访按摩中心来舒心.希望有帮助.

It was a simple one but sweet as he purposely flew back from his home town on the first day of CNY aka Valentine's Day to celebrate Valentine's day with me. ^^

We went Victoria Station for dinner at 9pm.

I met two "new" classmates, as in I had not met them since we graduated from Kung Min. Unfortunately, one of them don't remember me anymore. Yea...I know, I'm not the popular one. But my memory is good, I remembered them. Perhaps I might not get the full name =p

It was a great Thursday night. Everyone looks so beautiful and handsome.

On day time, I worked until 1pm, rushed back home and started preparing myself for the annual dinner.

Partner sent out an email to remind us that the dinner will start at sharp 730pm. I went in at 730pm and luckily I found some friends were in already.

Anyway, the dinner started at 830pm !@#$%^&*

The dinner was started with speeches (as expected). The most important thing that I want to highlight is I FINALLY won a consolation prize in a lucky draw. I have not been so lucky since I was born (I believe). I got a hamper. hee...

I did not drive to the dinner, so I drank alcohol, red wine and whisky. I believe I had drank about 4 1/2 glasses of alcohol, I felt dizzy and tired. Felt like wanted to sleep at that point of time. They still suggested to go Long bar for second, I felt that I couldn't take it and my colleague sent me back. I slept until next day 4pm. Had a good sleep without any disturbance...Nice!!!

The most formidable thing is that our firm people finished all the alcohols before midnight *applause*

On the 11 December, we were required to attend team meeting and department meeting to share our thoughts, complaints, give feedback to the management and share the performance of our firm and budget for next year.

After the meetings, we were served with light refreshment, Domino's Pizzas (My favourite, Pizza!!!), sandwiches, drinks, and cakes.

We also have a small celebration for December babies.

Another tension day was just over. So is time to wait again, hoping for the favourable result.

Meanwhile, it is also time for me to re-enroll into the next module, Auditing. I had submitted the re-enrollment form from MICPA and passed to HR during my study leave. However, yesterday personnel from HR informed me that I need to fill up another re-enrollment form from ICAA.

When it comes to payment part on the re-enrollment form, it is stated that the fee is A$1,260. Since this is my second attempt, I have to pay for it myself. I have got confirmation from HR that I'm required to pay A$1,260, not RM3k. Isn't it unfair?!!! At the end of the day, I will have the same qualification as the new enrolled students with the MICPA. Why do I have to pay different price of fee? The answer I got from HR personnel was because I previously enrolled with ICAA, so I have to make payment to them. Meanwhile, new students are taking M'sia tax law, no more Aust tax law. Anyway, the rest of the modules will be the same. I still can't figure out, why there must be differences!!!

Wow...just read from the paper, NST, that doing sudoku or crossword can help to burn calories!!!

Averagely, it burns 90 calories if you tackling on sudoku for an hour. Researcher Tim Forrester said: when we do something challenging such as a puzzle or a quiz, we can burn through 1.5 calories every minute. Doing difficult crossword or challenging sudoku means your brain will crave more glucose and more calories too.

So...I'm thinking, if I study, can it help to burn calories too? I also think hard when studying ma...

Indeed it does prove!!! Because right after my exam in my second semester, I went in to client place and my client asked me whether I have gone on diet? I denied on that as I still eat the usual portion that I always take during my study break. I just couldn't go on diet when I was on study break.

Well, this is another motivation for me to study and lose weight. fuyoo...it serves 2 purposes!!! Cool!!!

I'm on leave again!!! Sound so good but in fact I need to study!!! Bad news for me.

I have not been studying and I feel so so bad now. Since the quiz system has been abolished, I have not been studying consistently. Don't even mention about my study plan. I don't have any study plan. I just want to claim that I'm not free to develop one.

Will it be too late to develop one now?

Friends who are close to me will always hear me complain that I don't have any vacation leaves. This year my leaves means only study!!! What a life?! I feel so depressing.

Hopefully by year end I wish I can receive good news =p

God bless me to pass all papers once. So that I able to have vacation leaves when I say I'm on leave and no study at all next year.

Should I say I'm lucky? Since the course that I'm currently studying has been merged with a local course, I don't have to pay OZ dollar anymore. By right it is A$1,550 per paper. With the current currency rate, I might need to pay RM5k. God bless me, we are only required to pay local currency since the merger which cost me only RM3k.

Fever

I broke my own record.

Fall sick for 2 times just within a month. Body temperature is abnormally high at 39.7 celcius and 39 celcius respectively.

Since I came back from my exam leave, I worked for about 15 hours a day DAILY. I can't get enough rest, even I need to study. I manage to get average of 5 hours of sleep everyday. I feel so suffering.

I used to be quite healthy, as in I may get fever only once in a blue moon ie. one year once or one and a half years once.

Not an easy life to study while working though.

On the lantern day, I did not go anywhere but staying at home accompanying my dear little baby brother. Guess this is his first year to celebrate the lantern day and first time light up the candles and lantern.

He used to have those electronic lanterns as he was still young and could not play with the fire.

Anyway, I was very carefully taking care of him to observe every of his move to ensure that he did not play with the fire in a danger way. lol...

Dear I, (This is specially for you!!!)

I really had a good chat with you in Sweet Chat. As we enjoyed our dessert (Durian pancake), we chatted like nobody's business from 430pm until 730pm. Unbelieveable!!!

I didn't feel like leaving when it was time, I wish I could still chatted with you continuously. We have too many things to share. Part of the reason was we had not met up for more than 1 year, right? We have same thoughts, facing the same problems...

Anyway, we were mainly complaining about our work. How sucks is it...and why she resigned.

She resigned. I heard all the sad stories from her. I feel so pity and sympathy to those victims. Similar thing happened to her. Otherwise, she wouldn't have resigned.

After hearing her stories, I was influenced and feeling so demotivating. I feel the same and wanted to do the same. But...can i? I still have bond for another 3 years. I wish I won lottery and pay back all the debts to free myself. Too bad. It is reality that I can't do!!!

Not to forget, thanks for the present. I like it very much =)

Yea!!! It is over. However, new challenge is here already. New semester has started even before I sit for today's exam.

After exams, went to settle some of my admin stuffs. Then, relax at home.

My new subject sounds tougher as in the marks given for the non-exam is reduced from 50% to only 20%, which means final exams will be 80% instead of 50% like last time. Oh my god!!! SLin counted and showed me, saying that we have lesser time to earn every mark. You are right!!! Let's say it is now 3 hours for 50%, means we have 3.6 min for every 1 mark. Since it is 80% in the final and complete the exam in 3 hours, we have 2.25 min for every 1 mark (ie. lesser time to earn the same mark)

There is no more every 2-week quizes, it thus reduces my burden to keep up with my study. I can study anytime I want. The drawback of this is I will tend to delay my study lo. Good or bad? sigh...wish I can still keep up with my study with the new structure of module.

It is time to say goodbye to my 2-week leavessssss. Such a long leave and I got to rest sometimes. haa... Now it is time to wait for my result. Meanwhile, facing the new module. Amitabha...Hopefully I can make it.

On that night itself, we had an unforgettable experience. As usual, they like to press the birthday boy/girl's head onto the EXTRA CREAMMY cake. TL's head was unexpectedly pressed and smashed onto the cake. The cream covered his half face. He then grab the cream on his face and tossed to those who pressed his head. Unfortunately, part of the cream was tossed to the table beside us. Shit...!!!

The group of boyish smoking pigs were so angry and gave us unfriendly stare. We quickly apologise to avoid unwanted problems. Meanwhile, TL had headed to toilet to clean himself.

One of the tomb boy shouted at us: See!!! What you gonna do now? She kept repeating the same sentence to us for numerous times. Everyone around us was looking at us. I felt very wrong and paiseh...

After apologising to them, they sounded like they want money compensation. We acted stupid and they just asked us to fxxk off.

phew...luckily did not end up with fighting. Perhaps our group has more guys than their group with all boyish smokers. It was an unforgettable one!!!

We learnt the lesson, we should not play in a public area!!!

A fine dinner

Had a fine dinner with L in Umai-ya on the eve of Merdeka. Thanks CS for the recommendation.

Once we sat down, he asked me: why are we eating here? to celebrate what?

I was thinking for a while, said: celebrate Merdeka day? hahaha..as if we are so patriotic. sorry, I'm not, neither him. lol...anyway, happy 52-year-old to 马来西亚.

We ordered a 2 pax set dinner promotion for RM80++, plus a Dobin Mushi, a pot of soup that will change taste when leaving it to drink later.

Community day

This is my first year to participate in the community day. This is a one-day thing. It fell on Saturday, so earned 1 day of leave. yay!!! Last year, I able to escape due to I had something on. Forgot what was it.

Anyway, it was a tiring day. We went Kelanang beach, which is a super dirty beach, and I don't know why somebody can still picnic there. Big red ants are walking everywhere. I feel awful.

We were seperated into 2 groups. Group A was assigned to play games with the orphans and Group B was assigned to clean up the beach. I was in Group A.

We played dodge ball for the first half of the day. Group A was divided into about 8 teams with 2-3 orphans in each team. After the games, someone suggested orphans vs 'us'. Result is orphans are the winners. This shows how inactive auditors are in sports, even orphans can also win us.

After lunch (not really nice though), we taught the orphans to build kites/layang-layang/wau?

We did not know how to build until there were somebody demonstrating to us and one of our team members actually knew how to build. Lucky!!!

Gathering 2009

Our secondary school reunion fell on 25 July 2009.

I supposed it is quite well-planned. =p except the fact that the restaurant mixed up my reservation. I called the restaurant up and made a reservation for 27 pax on 25 July 2009. I did not mention the date, but I do mention: this saturday, 27 pax. The fella put my reservation on 27 July 2009. Fortunately, we reached there early, 7pm and still able to get them to arrange for us.

Almost everyone is so co-operate, be punctual to this event. Thank you very much.

We were arranged to sit on square shape long tables. I need to go from one end to another end to talk to everyone. It is almost impossible to take "whole family" photo. Everyone is required to come in front so that everyone can be seen clearly in the photo.

Our dearest form teacher came to join us. She is excited to see everyone again. She talked to each of us but she hardly can recall our names. So I was beside her and asked: Do you need a name list? She said: yes yes...

I passed her the name list that I have been keeping it since Form 5. She saw it and felt surprised: "wah...you still keep it?" hahaha...yea. Otherwise, I won't have the full name list of our classmates.

After the dinner, we celebrated YJC, LJC, and CWL's birthday.

No second round for me. I'm so tired.

Mission impossible

Our audit team made it compulsory to run the SCB KL marathon 2009.

I was late this morning. The race supposed to start at 7am, I started running at 715am.

After I ran for 20 minutes, I feel like giving up. Phew...I have not been going for exercise for ages, now ask me to run 10KM. IT'S 10KM. I cannot believe I completed it. Running 10km of marathon is like killing me.

As I was late, I ran the whole journey by myself. Trying to motivate myself to complete it. Seeing people who ran for fun and family run is so much shorter, where they can turn to the right side, but we were directed to run straight further. argh...

As I ran, I was thinking 1km is so long...10km is like 10 times of it. omg!!!

I finished 10km in 2 hours time. I never met up with my colleagues as they started first.

I saw a lot of muscular runners or rather professional runners. Well, it was compulsory, that's why I'm in. Otherwise, don't think I will go for these kind of run.

There are also foreigners who join the run. There were some passers standing at the side clapping their hands to show their support and motivate us to RUN!!!

When approaching to the end (about 100m far), some finishers, sitting and standing at the side, "adding oil" for us so that we run faster.

After the run, I met KK. So surprise!!! Took a photo. Then met up with my colleagues, got our medals and took photos again. Our dearest partner, and senior manager came to participate in the run also.

Client's temper

Currently, my this client is a bit tough to handle. If you scare to get scolded, you really need to see her mood before approaching her.

Her mood swings super duper fast. When just finish talking to her, next second she might be scolding (or screaming??) at the other side.

It is hard to describe her whether she is nice. She is nice as she is willing to help us out in our work to certain extent. On the other hand, she could scold us. I have kena 2-3 times. cannot remember.

First time, I found some problems when doing my testing. I planned to sit down with her and discuss it. She was standing in front of a computer. I asked whether is she free to discuss something. She just stood there and asked: what is it regarding? I explained and said there are a lot to show you. She paused and scolded: Can you tell me what is it? Don't tell me a lot!!! Blardy hell, there is no table for me to put 3 files, how am I gonna show her?

Second time. I was asking someone in customer service department (I suppose) as I was directed there. We had been talking for about 5 minutes, then SHE came and asked: What your actually looking for? I then explained. She then scolded: This is nothing to do with her. This, you need to check with xxx. Please make your facts clear, okay? My Boss does not want you to disturb this group of people!!!

Walau, super scary wey...can't you speak in a nice way? We are professionals.

Lunch in Old Town

Went for lunch in Old Town White Coffee located at the Jalan Raja Laut with my colleagues.

My colleagues ordered the set lunch which cost only RM 9.80 per set. When it comes to billing, my senior realised that they charged RM 10.80 per set. We then asked why was it more expensive, the staff presented the receipt to the boss and the boss sat at far far place, told the staff to pay back RM 2.

The boss did not even come over and say sorry. Then the staff explained that it was their system problem. System sets the price at RM 10.80 and they need to manually deduct RM1 out. WTH is this? This is cheating!!!

People be careful and check your receipt before you leave.

The Sims 3

I'm so addicted to The Sims 3.

L is complaining already. Guess he must be regretting he allows me to buy the game.

I used to play The Sims 2 for a while only as I don't have the disc to install the game after formatting my computer. I love The Sims since I played the first "The Sims".

There are more things that you can do as compared to the last two versions. One thing I don't like is that we can only select 1 active household to play. If we deactivate the current household, all the wishes (their wishes that can fulfill them in life) will be lost. Anyway, not much impact on other things except the wishes.

hmm...I just cannot resist but to play it every night. My 7-year-old baby brother is also addicted. Once I reached home, finished my dinner, he will push me into my bedroom and we played this game together. lol...

He is really sweet and an adorable boy...

It is unbelievable he is now 7 years old this year. He grew up already. However, everyone still likes to call him "Baby". Besides June Tung, he has a lot of other names, baby tung, ong baby, boss (as he is like the King in the house), B, tung tung, alex ong (he always said: "my english name is Alex. Call me Alex Ong.")

It has been long time I did not take train. I have not even sat in monorail. Anyway, I had a workshop to attend today, therefore taken my workshop leave.

Feel relax. However, the day before, I worked until 10pm and then went back home to rush for the presentation so that I'm well-prepared. As a result, I slept at 2am.

Supposed to wake up at 6am, but I was so reluctant and dragged until 630am only woke up. Faster took my bath, grabbed something from kitchen and rushed to KTM station that is nearby my house. I reached the KTM station at about 720am and thought I could catch a train. Based on my experience (about 5 years ago when KTM used to be my transportation), about 720am there would be 1 train.

Unfortunately it was delayed. I thought I would be late and waited until 735am, finally there is 1 train came. By that time, the platform is full with humans. This train is meant to carry passengers who are going for long distance some more, but somehow is used for now to take regular passengers.

Once the train stopped right in front of us, everyone has no order and stucked at the entrance of the train. My godness. People are pushing people into the train. You don't even need to walk, you will definitely be pushed in.

Well, I'm too small size and could not get in *paiseh*. Anyway, I cannot take it when I was stucked in between strangers. I rather leave them. I saw from far, people are pushing people from the back so that they themselves can get in. omg...then I see people inside were standing straight and no more space at all between each other.

I just don't understand why KTM always delayed their train and caused people pushing each other. Anyway, within 5 minutes, another train came and it was quite empty. I was like: thank god, luckily I did not went in the train that had just gone.

Although no seat for me, I'm fine with it. Anyway, as we proceeded to subsequent stations, the crowd was building up even until I left the train.

I have not arrived even I left KTM, I changed to Putra to go to my destination.

It is slightly better. At least people were queuing while waiting for the train to arrive. However, once the train stopped, people from behind came forward and went in first. I was so surprised. Anyway, just stun for a while, and realised it is not surprised that Malaysians are not patient to wait for their turn. Sigh...

I'm so hurt

Before I made a decision, of course I have tried to check my time table.

I have no idea why it is still my fault. I agreed with my friends to join for Krabi trip as I was kinda free last year at that point of time.

After I saw my friends' leave got approved and I had just recently got to claim few days of OT, so I applied for my leave too. Unfortunately, senior refuses to sign off and I may not be able to go for the trip. It is sad enough for me.

But I'm blamed that I did not check my time table properly. I have checked it based on my last year schedule, is it still my problem? It is really out of my expectation that since I'm in my current engagement, I've 4 reporting in a year for this job where it includes the month of July.

I have tried my best, but I'm blamed to be at fault. I'm so hurt.

Super angry today.

Had a client behaving very unhelpful to me.

It is only my FIRST time asking supporting documents from her (manager some more from xx department). She was alright when I first asked. Later on, I realised I missed out 1 item on the next page, so I went to her and showed her, she was like: har? still got ar? And then her volume is super high.

She found one of the document and walked to the photostat machine. I asked: hmm...photocopy for me? She responded: Ya...I don't want later you see already and you want again and I need to search for you. She talked so loud until everyone can hear as she moving forward to the photostat machine. Bear in mind that most executives have their own room. Supposed they may not hear, but they do just because of her high tone of voice.

Finance manager heard and tried to cover me: She is just doing her job only, don't be like that. And the bitch responded: I know. I'm doing my job also. F**k, what are you talking? feel like slapping on her face.

Never mind!!! When she showed the last document to me, she "shounted" from far (7-8 steps away): If you have any more sample, please do not look for me again. I have done with mine. Please look for others. Damn!!! super LC lo!!!

I got no choice, what can I still do? just smile and laugh...damn fake!!!

Luckily she is not part of the finance department.

Deadlines

Shit!!! Time is running out. All deadlines are just too close to each other. I feel like giving up.

Right after my exams which is on Monday. In the subsequent week, it is my assignment due date.

Right now I have a new engagement again, which gives me only 1 week to complete. Why? My last engagement also like that, just right before my study leave for the exams. It is really stress. At the mean time, I need to rush for assignment to meet deadline.

Unfortunately, second day of the new engagement, I fall sick again.

I went to see the same doctor whom I visited last month. He said: You sick AGAIN? I'm like: yes?! It is not my wish to get myself sick anyway. I just got a day of MC to rush for assignment. Also it is not confortable for me to work as I need to talk to client and I have light sore throat.

I woke up super early at 4am and reading the discussion board online to see people's arguments as reference to do my assignment. That's my only choice I guess.

I'm super duper stress...not sure if I can finish ICAA?!!! :'(

Sing K

went to Sing K with L's friends.

Wow...I really like their singing. They are super good. I believe they are more than eligible to participate in singing competition. They can sing as just like the singer does. I'm sure they can win.

Too bad no photos were captured. Too shy to get. Anyway, I'm just a girl!!!lol...

It is my first time to meet up with most of them as I have previously met up few. Very paiseh to sing also. Super scare when I sang alone as they are sooooo good. Who am I?!! I could not sing so well. :(

This is their annual gathering. A very big group of 14 people with only 4 couples there. When we all just arrived the k room. Everyone was busy eating. Nobody sang. Wondering were we shy or too busy with foods.

Can't deny that they can really really sing and sing so so well!!!

First 2009 dinner

It is our CNY dinner organised by my firm. It is delayed due to it is peak period.

Our people in our firm come and go causes very high turnover. And today marks the last day for my close colleage, WLK and my dear senior, WEH to serve our firm.

To WLK, thanks for sharing me with all your gossips, inviting me for outings. Although we did not meet up with each other so much, we were still close somehow. It has been few times we tried to have a trip though failed everytime. Hope there is this 1 day. Keep in touch.

To WEH, thanks for teaching me so much when I worked with you. If I'm not mistaken, there were 2/3 jobs (include BNM submission?) I worked with you. Although you were not my direct senior, thanks for all your teaching, lessons to me and advice. I had good moments to work with you with all your jokes. Don't forget to call me up to yam cha, drive me with your new car k...hee...

Wish you both have better undertakings in future. Take care and keep in touch.

Tired January, sick on February

Since starting of January, I have been busy with my work.

Let me summarised. January I barely sleep. I only got 3-4 hours of sleep everyday.

In the morning, I woke up, go to work, work..................until 2-3am, go back home. Once reached home, it is 3-4am (about there). Sleep for 3-4 hours, it is 7-8am, I must get up and go to work. Otherwise, I'll be late. I now become a zombie!!!

Now is February, I fell sick finally. I got fever with body temperature 38.9 celcius. Doctor stared at me with his big eyes for a while. I also stared at him. lol...He said: This is serious. He asked me to go back again after 3 days.

Indeed, yesterday morning, I felt unwell and since I think I could still work, so I went to client place. As I worked, I felt more tired. Especially after lunch, I felt cold and pain on joints. I worked until 530pm, I just left and went for doctor.

It was a hard journey to drive from Rawang to Kepong as I couldn't even have the strength to concentrate on driving. Luckily no accident. Thank god.

Anyway, what an unlucky day, doctor was away for dinner. I waited for 45 minutes only he came back. Really tough time...on MC today, must rest well.

I attended one of my best friend's wedding dinner on the 31/12/2008 at Selayang Palace Restaurant.

Met few long lost contact secondary school friends. One of my early-married friend, same age with me has now had 3 children. I was like: WOW...OoO?!!!

After the dinner, I did not join any gang to count down or whatever. As I promised my brother to fetch him back at 1am. So TL and I went DU to eat Baskin Robbins. 31% discount!!! I have been making promises to TL that we will eat 31% discounted ice-cream, unfortunately I was always tied up with something I guess.

On 1/1/2009, we went sing K again. lol...so crazy about singing K!!!

By the way, it is new year. Shall I make new year resolution?

Yes!!! My first resolution is to lose weight, to go back at 39kg. I don't care. I want 39kg.

Since middle of the year of 2008, I have been wanting to reduce my weight. Unfortunately it is always been forgotten and ended up ate more.

Action plan: Eat breakfast, skip lunch (sometimes eat a bit), eat dinner (Super duper small portion only. I want to eat dinner because this is the only time I can have dinner with my family or taste my mom's cooking). Eat less cheese, creamy foods, foods with high cholesterol.

Self-assessment: ? ~ Wait till Dec 2009.

Also, I wish I won't have any bad luck this year. According to zodiac, I would face a lot of challenges which may discourage me. phew...worrying!!! Scare scare... Anyway, hope I can overcome all the difficulties.

2 enough?! Don't be so greedy la. As long as there is no bad day in 2009, I'm satisfied.

O ya!!! Wish I can pass my auditing paper and pass the rest of the papers of my course too.

worst customer service

I had a facial appointment with CITISPA in this afternoon at 230pm. After my lunch, I came all the way from Damansara Damai, passby toll, paid RM1.60 to reach the centre.

Once I entered the centre, the beautician, who usually wash my face, asked me what appointment you have made? I was confused absolutely, I said: facial!!! She opened her log book and told me that couldn't find my appointment.

I explained that I made it last week. I called them and I wanted to make it at 2pm, and the receptionist asked if 230pm can or not. I said: okay. I thought it would be marked there.

What kind of customer services they are offering, telling me sorry and asked me to come back next week. I was seriously pissed!!! !@#$%^&*!!! Damn sucks!!! I didn't say much and turn away once they marked down my appointment.

I drove away and kept thinking of it. I should have asked them to compensate me a free treatment for WASTING my time to come all over, paid toll and got nuts!!! My time is precious. It is not easy to set aside my PRECIOUS time. I got lot more things to do. There are more beauty centres that can serve me much better out there!!! I got an offer from another centre recently which is much nearer and does not need to pay any toll to reach!!! It is also quite well-known!!!

Guess I will request for free treatment if there is second time. I think I entitle for the compensation. i wanted to request, but too late, I was driving already.

Anyway, this is only my 3rd time to visit them for facial, they are giving me such sucks customer service!!! After this package, I'll never sign any package with them ANYMORE!!!

I was in k room to count down for Christmas on the eve with TL only. This is mainly due to I still need to work on the eve and it was hard to anticipate whether I can go back early or not, so I couldn't go far.

Anyway, on the eve, most clients are on leave, and I just did follow up for previous jobs.

Unfortunately I couldn't leave at sharp 530pm. Anyway, left at 6pm.

On 25th, I made sushi as lunch for me and TL.

Annual dinner 2008

After time flies post, it is followed by annual dinner post for the closure of the year. =p

Joined the firm almost 1 year. I did not realise it until I count it.

The theme of this year annual dinner is "Masquerade". hmm..when I received the email informing us the theme, I find it interesting and excited as this is my first time to participate in a masquerade dinner.

Despite my preparation for my exams, I went shopping to shop for my dress and accessories just for that night. Well, anyway I only dressed normal with a mask.

I reached hotel around 7pm,whereby it was intended to start at 630pm. Anyway, nobody cares when it starts. Even with an email sent out by partner asking us to be punctual, but who cares? All my friends were late =p. Guess I'm the earliest =p

Once I arrived, everybody looked strange to me, as they are from another departments.

The dinner started at 8pm. Out of thousands people there, there must be people who dressed up typically to attend a masquerade dinner. Some of them wore costumes like pirates costume, costume of Japan, ghost costume and bla bla bla... Those who followed theme, won RM1k. hey...not bad. Just rent the costume for few hundreds, and you won a thousand as compared to me I bought long dress worth hundreds and with accessories, but I got nothing. hahaha...

It was a great night to me. We all dressed up prettily and took photos everywhere despite the foods were served, we did not really eat much.

Time flies

No doubt time flies. Up to today, I almost graduated 1 year, I worked for almost 1 year, I have partially become financially independent as some of the expenses are still on my parents. haa...

My lifestyle changes completely within 1 year.

My lifestyle is no more free like I used to be. Free from pressure (except stress from study), free from commitments (chose classes fell between 10am to 3pm, did whatever I like at any time), lots of FREE time. During my free time, I could go shopping (pyramid is just behind our university), drive out to eat, play sports (badminton), lots of fun fun events I had. If we were meeting tight deadlines, me and classmates would gather to study either in library or concourse and had our discussions. We always chit chat at concourse. Life is really easy. What we need to worry is only STUDY. Nothing else. I really miss my uni time...

Now...is the reality of life. It is just began. I'm now trying to get myself used to the reality. Not sure if I'm lucky, my colleagues are generally nice to people, no ego, willing to teach with patient and experienced. That's why I respect them.

Work pressure is seriously a huge burden for me. I just broke down the other day. I don't wish that I can climb the corporate ladder high, but I only wish I can earn enough for me to have a good and comfortable balanced life. (Does it already sound like I need to climb as high as I can to get that kind of quality of life?)

Work wise, I still have a lot to learn. I just feel that sometimes I still don't know much thing and feel useless, that's where my pressure come from. After one year, will I be promoted? That's really a concern to me as my salary matters very much to me right now. :P

My lifestyle is now busier than ever. I need to commit to work, meanwhile study. Worst case, I'm in relationship. There is no way that I can give up any of these right now. Well, I'm lucky as there is no pressure from my relationship currently as he is considerate enough to understand my commitments right now and he makes no noise to me SO FAR. :P

I had this silly thinking. Can I study hard hard before my leaves start, then when my leaves come, I just relax and perhaps go for trips :P

Peak period is coming. aiks...a bit scared. Lately I have been working late too; as late as 11pm. Probably it could be a practice for me to get used it to overcome the coming peak period. phew...nightmare for me.

I made it (partially only)

I have just done with my third online test (NOT my final yet :P). This is the only test I got high marks, where I got 2 questions wrong out of 9. I reckon this is still bad because my marks is not even at average. I feel so sad. At the mean time happy that I have some improvement. This could show that I slowly get used to the online test. The questions are tricky though...I am damned happy and went shopping to reward myself.

Anyway, Next year, I would have 3 papers to take and just realise that next year I'd be suffering more as I only have 14 days of AL to be spread over the 3 sittings of my papers. (I'm wondering, is this the correct way to enrol the subject, or should I rest for a semester?) Normally, for each paper we will take 5 days of study leave and 5 days of AL. But then how am I going to seperate 14 days into 3 sittings of papers, which also means that I won't have any personal holidays UNLESS I got to claim OT as 8 hours of OT means 1 day leave.

Unfortunately, I've worked for so long, only 1 day of OT I got to claim. Absolutely sad right? sigh...

I want more OT so that I can rest...

Assignment submitted

3.11.2008, 515am marks the time I completed my assignment.

It is due at aussie time 11.55pm 3.11.2008. It is really a nightmare for me.

I have been planning well to complete my assignment as I don't like to do last minutes work and rushing at the end. I hate that suffering feeling.

I planned to complete my assignment 10 days in advance so that I can ask somebody to review for me. I approached my line manager to review for me. I did complete my assignment in 10 days in advance and sent to my line manager to review. After few days of waiting, I started to doubt that there won't be any reply from my line manager. I don't feel like asking him whether he has reviewed as is like I'm chasing him.

I tried to approach another manager, she suggested me to refer to our firm's guidance. So, I tried. Indeed, I kept amending my assignment. This is because there is this online discussion forum maintaining by ICAA so that all candidates can interact with each other. In the discussion, certainly there are suggested ideas given and I took them as reference. Thus, I changed my answers.

On the last day before the submission date, I got training on Sunday -.-

Spent WHOLE DAY (9am-7pm) there. At the end of the training, I approached another senior to double confirm on my answers. Due to he was in a rush too, I did not get to ask much. I don't want to leave things last minutes, but...accident does happen. I have been trying my best.

I was quite disappointed. During my dinner, suddenly I received a message from MY. MY is SLin's friend. She is also taking same subject with me. After my dinner, I shot back home and exchanged answers with her. That made me feel much more comfortable. Perhaps, all the while I have been working it alone and I feel helpless. Suddenly there is someone close to me to discuss with me, I feel much better. lol...

Feel like taking MC to rest la. But then, I have been taking few days of MC last week as I really fell sick. :( Tired and sleepy.

Good night. Another 2 hours for me to sleep. Hope I don't oversleep.

Sunway Lagoon

It's been sometime I didn't go to Sunway and it is even longer that I did not go into Lagoon.

My firm gave me this opportunity on Saturday (17/10). It was Family day. Most of them bring their family (only immediate) to play games there. We were allowed to play full park. Wait a minute!!! Full park means dry and water park ONLY excluding whatever scream park, xtreme park...bla bla bla...

Need to pay extra for that though.

Sad to say, people who registered to join this family day only few of us. I'm lucky enough to have another 5 from same department to accompany me. DD came too with her boy boy. They both joined us and we were 8 in a group. It's quite convenient for us to sit all the rides with even number of us. We played only mostly dry park. We only sat for about 5 rides, we were tired and went for lunch.

At the third ride, one of my colleagues, G, injured his toe. His toe nail came out. Iew...I felt pain for him and it kept bleeding. We went first aid to wrap his toe. Anyway, that did not stop him from sitting for another few rides.

Guess none of us are interested in the water park games, we left after lunch.

Deadlines

Oh gosh!!! Deadlines really kill me.

Last week friday (10/10) *I think*, I got an email from my Head of Department saying that our Dialogue is due on 17/10. Shit!!! 1 week how to complete? I have job commitment, and study.

Anyway, I still need to work on it.

For your information, Dialogue in my firm is something that records your performance during the year. Early of the year, we need to set a goal for the year, then there will be interim review (which is on March), then final review is now lo. We need to do self assessment, then need to see performance manager to discuss on it. UNFORTUNATELY, my performance manager is on leave for a week and I got that email like on monday (13/10). I cannot finish my Dialogue on time already!!! Even I can finish the self assessment, but the meeting manager part.........sigh...

Since monday, (13/10) I have a reporting job, which we are expected to finish in 1 week time. At first I thought I couldn't make it. After 13/10, I think it was quite okay. So this should be fine.

Another deadlines is my study. Another online test is coming but I have not studied. I have not got time to study. In order to meet my job commitment deadline, I need to bring work back do, which resulted me cannot study at night!!!

Besides on line test, I got my project/assignment which will due on 3/11. Before I submit, I need to get somebody to read through. So I need to finish it early.

Phew...I just feel that deadlines is really killing. There are just too near to each other.

Nevertheless, coming friday (17/10), although it is a deadline for my Dialogue, my firm is treating us dinner for Deeparaya. yippie...I don't know where is it. haha...senior promised to guide me there. Good!!!

First module commences

After went through a deep thought on whether to take ICAA or CPA, I finally registered for ICAA. My first module is Auditing and Assurance which has now commenced. I'm excited at the same time worry myself cannot cope with it. *Helpless*

Throughout my tertiary education, the worst subject I scored is Auditing, which I just got a PASS. phew...*worrying*

The funniest thing is that the text book for this module is the thick Auditing handbook. My friends who study in accounting field certainly know how thick is the handbook and how small is the font size printed on the handbook. grr...I really don't like the handbook :(

Another thing is that the optional reference texts are actually my text book and a case studies book I used in my university time. hee...can save some money and not to purchase those expensive reference books which have useful life as short as 4 months.

But then, I need latest auditing handbook :( I only have 2007 version handbook, not the most current one, 2008. Anybody has it?

First celebration this year with my university buddies. We first gathered and met everybody in front of the main entrance in Pyramid. Then I decided to go Shabu Shabu to eat our lunch. Well, this is known birthday celebration for me. No surprise element. I’m still glad that they celebrate for me. After lunch, we caught up with each other and then cut cake. SC brought her cousin’s home baked cheese cake. It is so delicious. No doubt. I got a lot of present from them. Yippie…

Sweet celebration with TL. He took half day leave just to fetch me right after I finished working. He took me home to get showered, then celebrated my birthday with my family. Right after that, he took me to Jogoya for “supper”. From 930pm to 12am It is my first time being there, eating such delicious and fresh shashimi, haagen-Daz ice-cream, and lots unlimitedly.

Due to it is a working day for me, to be more accurate, it is my training day, which I need to attend, and couldn’t take any MC, or EL, I spent my whole day in office. TL took one day leave just to fetch me to office in the morning and fetch me back home in the evening. So that we won’t waste much time as were rushing to attend Avril Lavigne’s concert in Merdeka Stadium which started at 8pm.

We had dinner at home before going to the concert. It was supposed to be one of the surprises, but he broke it himself. Lol…

No matter what, surprise or not, I do appreciate what you had done for my birthday.

Celebrating my birthday with my secondary school friends. It was a surprise birthday celebration for me. I’m so touched.

This day, we came back from Cherating and they purposely delayed the journey to go back home till 8pm by driving 80KM/Hour. JC told me that this is the safest drive ever he had. I agreed with him some more. Lol…

They also purposely stopped at every stops on the highway to delay the time. I did not realize that also. I thought they just need rest and therefore stop frequently.

We had dinner in McD near Genting Sempah (hopefully get the place right:P). After dinner, guys went out for fresh air and girls staying there chit chat. I wanted to go find guys, but girls suggested not as they were still puffing. Well, I waited. I did not realize the unusual also.

Finally we reached a petrol station to share the petrol expenses among ourselves, and afterwards, I heard they said: ok, go back respectively now and said bye to each other.

JC later on asked me in the car, are you okay if I fetch you along to Uptown to get something, spare part, before sending you home? I looked at the time, it wasn’t even 9pm, so I followed.

However, we wasn’t “lucky”. The person who was meeting him wasn’t there yet and we need to wait. So We waited. I then played around and camworing with them.

At least half an hour waited, JC told me that we need to get a cup of tea to wait and he brought me to “Tree House”. As I walked up, and suddenly I saw KC. I was surprised. Hmmm? Why is he here? I still blur and did not know what happen until I continued to walk and see SK and YH sitting on a long table. I then started to think I know what is happening. Then KC said: listen. Why got birthday song one? And I saw a birthday cake is pushing to me.

At that moment, I couldn’t hold my tears anymore and it dropped. Then everyone started telling me: We did not forget your birthday, we just want to give you a surprise. Wow… that statement is enough for me to cry again.

I really thought they have remembered the wrong date and therefore did not celebrate for me. I even thought they would celebrate in the Cherating trip, but no. When everyone was going back, and I thought our trip would just end there.

Cherating trip

Since 1 September 2008 is a public holiday due to 31 August 2008 fell on Sunday which was originally a public holiday, therefore 1 September 2008 was a replacement for the public holiday we are entitled to enjoy, my secondary school friends suggested to go Cherating for trip during the 3-day off.

There are only 6 of us went for the trip, departing on Saturday morning and reached our destination, Beach Chalet, by 3pm.

Indeed nothing much can we do there. We watched drama series in the room once we had checked in. lol…

When evening came, we went to seaside to play. What else can we do? Throw sand to each other, splash water to each other, taking photo, and buried somebody.

After the fun moment, we started to put on fire for our dinner, BBQ. Guys had bought all the frozen foods from supermarket, such as few packets of hot dogs, bacons, chicken meats and definitely some drinks, soft drinks.

Enjoying our BBQ for hours till about 11pm I guess, we all then showered and gathered in the room again to drink alcohol. I couldn’t even finish one whole glass, and I feel uncomfortable, but continued to watch the drama series until we all felt tired, only we went to bed.

The next day, after brunch, we went snorkeling. I’m sorry guys, I need to complain a bit. I’m not blaming anybody of my friends but the package provided by the chalet. Guess what? Paying RM50 for the snorkeling and what did we see? Dead corals, only 2-3 fishes I could see, and the sea level is so shallow until we kept hitting the dead corals. For your information, dead corals are damn hard. Even you don’t swim, but you would move because of the current will cause you accidentally hit the dead corals and it will give you a big red dot. Slightly harder hit will result in bleeding. Never mind, there are jelly fishes some more. Argh…

No more mood to snorkel. We then went up to the island and sun bathing there till evening.

We left Cherating on the 1 September 2008, starting our journey at 12pm after we checked out the chalet.

Though the snorkeling trip wasn’t that fascinating, but it was a good trip because we had fun together. I love the first day most. :D

Malacca trip

Yea, this time the destination is Malacca. It was well-planned in about 1 month ago. 8 of us sat in a Toyota Unser which was just nice to fit all of us.

Supposedly to start our journey at 9am, but I was late (paiseh, Stupid accident created the JAM LA!!! =P) and caused the journey to delay so we started our journey at about 10am.

Took about 2 hours to reach our destination. We first went to Jonker walk. Anyway, all the while we walked and spent our time around there. The purpose of our this trip is to EAT EAT EAT!!! Organiser called it as 'makan trip'.

We first went to a chicken rice shop to eat the popular chicken rice ball. After trying, personally feel the taste of rice has no difference between the rice balls and a normal bowl of rice. They don't taste any special despite the outlook is in ball shape. Still a good try in once in a while. They are not cheap either...we ordered in small portion and shared among of us, thus we got to taste more foods by going places.

Directly after tasting chicken rice balls, we went Donald & Lily's to taste Nyonya cendol, curry laksa, and Pongteh (I am not sure what does that mean also, but that dish is not bad la).

After that, we felt kinda full and walked around the Jonker walk. We walked one big round around Jonker walk. We also went to eat cendol again.

Indeed, last sunday I came to the same place and my friend recommended me Durian Cendol. I love it after tasting it. I could not forget it after I came back. This time we went to the same shop and eat the same thing again, but then, I found that the durian was a bit out of taste =P somehow la...don't know how to describe.

Our next round eating place was somewhere we can eat Sate Celup. While waiting for the restaurant to open at 530pm, we wanted to go shopping centre (either Pahlawan or Mahkota Parade) to chill ourselves as it was really hot weather. We ended did not go because it was just too jammed at the entrance. We stopped by at one of the free parking area at road side and CAMWHORING in the car. lol...It is unbelievable we could camwhore in the car for half an hour. Attention: It's group camwhoring. When the day got dark, we walked along the Jonker walk again, there was night market along the 'walk'. After that, we went back KL and reached home by about 1am.

A tiring but full (stomach) and absolutely a fun trip.

Guilty

Wondering why do I feel guilty when I go back home at sharp 530pm or before the sky turns into dark.

There was one day I left office by 545pm, to be accurate. I was holding my handbag and ready to walk out from office, my colleagues saw me and she said bye bye to me (kinda loud), I then turned and put my finger on my mouth: Shh... and she laughed. I felt absolutely guilty by leaving so "early". By right, I can leave that time right, but why I felt so?

That's not the end. When I walked far, she called my name again and I turned back, she said again: Bye bye (pretend to be loud). lol...

Well, fine! Yesterday she went back earlier than me. She asked me: can I go back now? I replied: Why not? when you can go back early, go back la. This is the only time you can do so." She agreed. I added: I won't say bye bye to you loudly one. She then looked at me said: You made me feel even guilty. lol...because she teased me before.

5 Erat Gathering

O yea. First of all, I would like to thanks all the comers for making the effort being present in the gathering. Yea, I know most of you might be busy with your own work, I really appreciate that you guys are willing to spare your few hours for joining this gathering.

I would like to thanks to YKH also. She is constantly asking me about the gathering progress since the month of July. She gave me a lot of support to move on on my plan.

It was initially decided to go k room for gathering, eating buffet dinner and enjoy singing in a party room, which may cost us about RM40++ per pax. Obviously, the response did not turn out as good one, so I decided to change plan to have dinner in restaurant which may cost cheaper. The date of gathering had been postponed too.

Apparently the date of gathering fell on 2 August 2008 at 730pm in Fusion Restaurant. I'm glad that this year the number of comers shot up to 24 as compared to last year, the number of people who being present was just as nice as 20 of us usually. It was supposed to be 28 this year but one of my dear friends fell sick and could not make it. Then YH's bf fell sick and she needs to take care of him as well as SE marked the wrong date of gathering. Too bad our form teacher and those who are unable to attend could not make it. Hopefully they will join us in coming years. Definitely i wish everyone can attend though..

Finished our dinner doesn't mean the end of our gathering. We went to Gasoline in Metroprima "yam cha". Slowly some of them went back. Still there were about 16 of us. Some of those who were unable to join the dinner, they joined us "yam cha" and then third round in Neway, 1 Utama from 1am till 4am.

Trip to Penang

After department trip, I went to Penang with my primary school friends.

I took Friday one day leave as we departed our journey to Penang on Friday morning 4am (from my house). After 3 hours of journey, we stopped by Ipoh to eat Dim Sum and continued approximately another 3 hours of journey, so we reached George town.

Well, we couldn't check in hotel until 3pm. We went around to eat and shopping in Queensbay.

In this trip, we only able to go for some places only, such as shopping centre i.e. Queensbay and Gurney Plaza, and Kek Lok Si. This is mainly due to our laziness to wake up early in the morning resulted us could not go more places.

Anyway, I had great time spent together with other 6 ex-classmates and Chloe (gf of one of our ex-classmates). Happy moment always passes very fast. I will be missing it. I'm looking forward for more trips coming up to go with you guys regardless it is still within Malaysia region.

I could still remember during our last dinner in Tanjung Malim (I guess is there), we all were tired and felt so unwilling to end the trip. One of them said let's go Jinjang to have a happy ending dinner. But then it was kinda late, and we decided to go back respectively.

Still surviving

Attended a training course which I have been looking forward since I enrolled myself into the course because that could be the time whereby I can go back home sharp 530pm.

Definitely I made it today, reached home by around 645pm due to slow traffic on the road.

In this training class, I met back few same batch colleagues with me from other audit departments when we were still new and attended our first training. We got to know each other from our first training course. One of the colleagues was assigned to be same group with me, then we got to talk more, kinda update each other about everything.

When we met back each other, is like: eh...still surviving? Then reply: yah...trying my best to survive here. And then got to know some had left after joining like for about 3 months.

Some people just couldn't take it, long hours of working. I'm just bearing with it as long as it is still within my capability. There are the least responsibility borne by an AA2 as compared to seniors and superiors, so I'm appreciating and taking advantage being an AA2, asking all sort of stupid questions when I can.

So far I'm feeling okay with my job, although sometimes I will feel stress or rather worry with the heavy workload I have as soon I'll have more things to worry like my study. Anyway, thats great that I'm still surviving, right? lol...

Department trip: Redang Island

Almost a month no update here...

Been busy with work as well as my vacation.

Just came back from Redang Island, department trip. This is my second time being there. We stayed in Laguna Resort, which is a 5 stars hotel?!! (I guess so) We only need to pay RM180 for the package because our dearest partners had subsidised us. Yuhoo...Initial plan was to go Phuket, however, due to budget is too expensive, we ended up spending our time in Redang Island. Glad to gain another great memory from this trip.

We departed on the night of 3rd July and it took us about 7 hours to reach Terengganu's jetty and another 2 hours in ferry to arrive our destination, Laguna resort in Redang.

The coach, Mi, who brought me and WLK around during snorkeling is a very nice guy. He kept suggesting us to visit some nice spots that are not included in our trip package. He brought us to see baby shark, and blue sand. At the last night, he suggested to bring us to see shooting star on top of the hill. Unfortunately, I did not confirm with him a time and we missed him when we were trying to look for him. His colleagues said he went back home already. sigh...

Went back to office to continue my task...

Although I'm not asked to go back, I went back to update working papers as I don't get the chance to do that during weekdays. I'm kinda reluctant to go back at night to do these stuffs. It is very tiring. I cannot stand too long working hours. My tiredness is accumulating up to a limit now. Somehow I have lost the spirit to work so hard like when I just started.

I wonder whether I can stand it?!!!

My balance sheet cannot be tied for about 2 weeks already. Today I spent whole day still couldn't find out. When I almost gave up decided to go back home, KHUN talked to me, concerning over my feeling since I worked in there. I told him what kind of obstacles I have met so far and I mentioned that my balance sheet cannot tie. hahaha...

He then took a look on my trial balance sheet. It is 2 pages. He said: Come, let me check for you. Very fast one because only 2 pages of trial balance.

KHUN is a very kind senior. He treats juniors well, kind and helpful. He used less than 1 hour and found it out. I have spent about half a day to recheck everything and even computation.

It is 6pm when my balance sheet is announced can be tied. I'm so damn happy...because I can go back happily...at least something is solved. I really feel relieve...perhaps only accountant can feel the excitement when the balance sheet gets to tie. hahaha...

However, if it is another way, it is very frustrating. hahaha...

Petrol price

Guess everybody is talking and complaining on the same topic regarding the increase in petrol price.

Was working comfortably in office, around 4pm++, one of our managers came up and said that he got information that petrol price is going up to RM2.70. OMG...I'm damn speechless. It is almost one dollar.

We all then kinda stopped working and pressed on our calculator calculating how much to add to pump in the same amount of petrol into our car. After count and count, it is proven that additional RM20 is needed to spend each time to pump petrol in order to pump in the amount of petrol. To round it up, it is about additional RM100 for me to spend on petrol in a month.

Gosh...feel like crying. Increase in petrol price can cause other prices to increase especially on the essential stuffs like foods. Guess I will need to eat grass starting from tomorrow. It is quite usual we spend about RM10 for lunch in 1u (since we moved to next to 1u), and I don't think we can easily find ourselves to spend RM10 for lunch anymore.

Indeed RM10 per meal for me is kinda heavy. I dare not imagine if the food price since then is RM20. By the way, don't think our salary will increase...hopefully our allowance will increase proportionately with the increase in petrol. hee...sorry, dreaming again...

I purposely left office earlier (but definitely after working hours) just to pump full my petrol tank. Meanwhile, my tank was really empty too. So I'm forced to go anyway...

When I reached the petrol station, the queue is about 100m or even less than that, I had waited for nearly an hour. By the time I left the petrol station, there were bad jam around ALL petrol stations and the queue can be as long as 1km far. Wondering how long they have to take and are they able to buy the petrol. It is 830pm when I got home. I'm definitely exhausted...

Stress

I had miscommunication with client and caused the delivery of my work to manager and partner delayed. sigh...what an unhappy engagement to me. Hopefully I don't have to recur in this job. Meanwhile, their account seem to be quite complicated. With my limited technical knowledge, I hardly can understand what they were trying to tell me too...senior...help me please...

Previously, client emailed me the documents but I really did not receive, so I request again. They got mad and scolded me. Who is so free to keep requesting documents while he or she has received?!

Well, I keep my anger and keep the voice down trying to communicate with client.

The finance manager now started chasing me for accounts, but they don't seem like providing me for further explanations on outstanding matters. Client even promised me to give me this evening, and I purposely mentioned that I would have to clear file with manager, (indeed only senior) but they broke their promise. I did not receive anything. Even a simple schedule also cannot provide to me. What does this show, I don't have to elaborate...relationship between me and client doesn't seem to be good anymore, although we are still talking in polite way and laugh together.

Guess I will have tough time tomorrow...sigh...

I spoke everything to senior hoping that she understands me...

Finally...really finally, I have got my confirmation letter. I cannot runaway anymore if ever I decide to leave provided if I have served 1 month after submitting resignation letter. lol...

Suppose I should be confirmed by 11st April, but I'm not yet due to some delays.

I had tried alternative, but still did not work out whereby i re-do my performance evaluation (PE) sent directly to my manager to review. What a bad luck that he did not receive it. sienz...

As soon as I saw my senior is back, I asked for my PE. lol...She was so surprised. Later on, she found that she had not forwarded my PE to manager to review. Anyway, no fine imposes on me because that is not my fault also. I told myself earlier, if they do fine me, I rather leave as it is really an unfair and unreasonable treatment.

I had met partner for final approval. Just a half an hour chit chat in her room. I'm an introvert, so talked less. My colleague was talking to her for more than one hour. phew...

Lately, I have been receiving emails from training department, chasing us to sign bond to sign up for CPA program. I then quickly do my change of course from CPA to ICAA. I got approval from my HOD (Head of Department) and got my confirmation letter from HR to pass them to training department to sign up ICAA. People keep asking me why do I change my mind? My hesitation starts to attack me again. I tend to give I don't know as an answer.

Well, I tried to say: to take up the challenge. Then they will reply: that's a really big challenge you are taking.

My HOD also asked me the same question. When I told him that if I really cannot cope with it, I may change back to CPA. He said: knock your head! why do you give up so fast? phew..I feel stupid.

Now holding the bond and enrollment form into ICAA, deciding whether to join. I met my senior today, who was a secondee from advisory department and taking ICAA also, he is so kind to offer me lending his text book to me as he said we cannot get the text book in Malaysia, which means have to buy directly from Aussie.

Anyway he is completing his course. He has sat for his last paper, which is management accounting subject and he claimed that that is his toughest subject ever. I was like ... speechless for a while as this will be my first subject if I were to enroll in coming semester. Why like that one?!!!!

By the way, I have been working in office in this week. Sitting comfortably in office, I feel very good. hahaha...o yea, that day bumped into DD when I just came out from lift, and she was going in. We only able to say Hi to each other. so sad...shall find her for lunch soon.

My firm has implemented some kind of troublesome system whereby we have to tag in and tag out. If never tag in, cannot tag out which leads you cannot go out from office. This is okay. What is worse is once you tag out, cannot tag in so immediate. This is what happened to me.

Our new office is considered spacious, so one floor can be occupied by few departments. HR is just opposite of my department's door. So I tag out to come out from my department and heading to HR trying to tag in, but stupid reader didn't accept, and I couldn't open the door. I need to wait for some time, perhaps...1-2 minutes? like a so po standing and waiting there.

New office

New place, new environment. It is definitely much more comfortable. It is quite spacious and the office is applying an open concept, whereby we can see everyone even if we are sitting, except for partners and directors as they are in their own rooms.

Some like their new assigned place, some not. I'm not assigned to a fixed place as I'm just an unimportant junior in the firm. What an unimportant and useless junior...therefore does not deserve a fixed place. What is fair, whereby EVERYONE will have, is a 2-door cabinet which can put about 15 files I guess. That is a good news to me as I always need a place for me to place my super duper heavy laptop.

New place, therefore new policy is applied. We have a new policy called Clean Desk Policy, whereby we need to clean our table before leaving, that's why each of us is given a cabinet to put files. Also, new place, new secretaries in my department also. They seem to be quite friendly, hopefully they are helpful enough though.

Lately also found out that since the implementation of new policy, our letters will be locked in a cabinet as well. At first, we were told that 2 staffs will be sharing a box. However, later on, it was announced that only seniors will have assigned mailbox. I wonder how about juniors? Need to read up further on the announcement.

By the way, just remembered that partners had promised us lunch and tea on the first day working in new office. I'm unsure is there any as I totally forgot about the FREE lunch and tea. I was in the client place anyway till evening, I did not get the chance to see also.

ANYWAY, I have to bear with it since I'm such a petite, playing an unimportant character in the firm.

Finally we are moving...

I reached office early at before 830am. My senior allowed us not to go to client place to work as we wanted to attend a farewell party specially organised for our fellow resignees who have their last day today.

It was decided to go to Friendster Cafe at 12pm, however, we all made our move at 1pm. That's our culture!!! lol... Anyway, everyone is just too busy doing their work at the mean time packing stuffs to prepare to move to new office.

There were at least 25 of us attending the farewell party. It was a happy moment for me as I got to have lunch for such a long time, about 2 hours ++ spent there. Definitely we took photos...

After we got back office, it was about 4pm, we had no more mood to work anymore. I just wasted my time there waiting for 530pm to come. lol...not that bad indeed. I helped to check out what were still left behind unpacked, I would take it along, especially my senior's "belongings", who has gone to UK for vacation.

I have not been home as early as 7pm long time.

Anyway, will have LONG holidays soon starting from tomorrow. Cool...

Current audit team

I love the current audit team now...

As I get to go out for lunch together as many as 10 of us...imagine, 2 cars (usually) or 3 cars heading to the same restaurant, sitting on a big round table, having lunch together, a lot of conversations will be going on.

This audit engagement involves a big team of us because the client has too many subsidiaries, almost countless (:P, cannot be countless la..), including an associate company, which is audited by my team.

The holding company is just next door. Although my audit team is small, which is about 4 of us, we join next door team (whereby usually about 8 of them are there) for lunch. That makes the team look even bigger.

Our total cost for lunch will be usually around RM100-RM200. Not cheap though eating in Kajang!!!

Soon, once the holding company's audit started, there will be even more people coming in, perhaps including managers?!

O yea, last weekends met up with my secondary school friends, I was told that I have grown fatter. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sigh...of course la. I have no time to exercise since I always work. I think I never stop since I started.

During weekdays, in the morning, after breakfast, SITTING DOWN and work. Soon, lunch. After lunch, SITTING DOWN and work again until dinner. My dinner is LATE dinner some more. Imagine, after my late dinner, I need to go to bed. Gosh...anybody can drag me to exercise? I wish I can swim than playing badminton...HELP AR...............................................................................
